Chad Waterbury has been responsible for some of the most innovative and cutting-edge training in recent years. Innovative programs that build muscle fast. He has quickly risen to the top of the scene in the crowded health and fitness industry, where it has become increasingly difficult to make a name for himself. His most recent book, 10/10 Transformation, once again brings together his brilliance in understanding just how far the human body can be pushed to create rapid changes in the physique.

The 10/10 Transformation is easy to follow and a quick read, but it will give anyone looking for immediate gains in muscle and fat loss exactly what they are looking for. I can say this first hand because this is another program that I followed myself. After reading his book Muscle Revolution and trying out several of the workouts, I became an immediate follower of his training style. 10/10 Transformation brings together several of its cutting-edge training models into one concise program that alternates between phases of muscle building and fat loss. It is so effective that when I was in the initial 3 week fat loss phase, I actually gained a few pounds while losing 1 inch off my waist.

Anyone who’s been in the fitness game knows that it’s hard to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. Chad Waterbury’s 10/10 Makeover is a 12-week program divided into 4 phases. The first phase is 3 weeks long and focuses on fat burning and conditioning. The workouts are tough and there is one day with heavy weights doing sets of 10 for 3 reps that really made my body respond with new muscles. For cardio it includes doing HIIT (high intensity interval training) just twice a week, which is more than enough to lose fat fast.

The second phase is a 3 week phase that focuses on building mass using one of their most innovative techniques called High Frequency Training or HFT. This blew my mind because I was working every muscle 5 days a week. They were short, focused full-body workouts that pushed for different repetition and movement patterns each workout, forcing me to gain muscle faster than ever before. More experienced guys would think this is a recipe for overtraining, but the way Chad Waterbury has designed the phase to be 2 1/2 weeks of training with 5 days off at the end shows his total understanding of how far you can go. take the central nervous system and how long it takes to recover.

The total program was the least expensive I had ever purchased but by far one of the most effective. By losing 10 pounds of fat while gaining 10 pounds of muscle, the scale may measure the same weight, but the reflection in the mirror is dramatically different as the waist shrinks and the chest and shoulders bulge with new muscle.
