Sometimes I forget the nervousness other women can feel when deciding when is the right time to wear leggings with the current bare leg trend, since everyone locally knows that I wear hosiery with everything on a daily basis. Don’t get negative responses while out in public, it’s a herd mentality to follow the fashion. I have so many lonely ladies come up to me and ask what kind of pantyhose I am wearing and where they can get a pair. This is because I only buy high end European made hosiery that can be found in high end department stores or online at places like eBay. No one wants to be teased for liking stockings, so you won’t find anyone in groups who will respond positively. Now, with that being said, I get a lot more positive feedback than negative.
The next acceptable types of hosiery are footless leggings in a variety of colors, with black again being the favorite and most publicly noticed. Young women wear them with jean shorts and skirts, ladies wear them under long blouses or sweaters. Just be careful how opaque they are when choosing a sexy pair to wear. I once saw a lady in a pair that was like a pair of sheer black support pantyhose, you could see her black thong underneath them…bless her heart! Hose stockings or footless leggings should be opaque if that’s the only accessory you wear on your legs.
Shiny, transparent black pantyhose for evening events or special occasions with a companion. Isn’t it amazing if they are white or taupe or coffee, sometime you will get stares from others, but if they are black or black it is considered normal daily wear, go figure!
