Given that, for most people, the equity in their homes represents their single largest financial asset, wouldn’t it make sense to use the best approach when they decide it’s time to sell their home? Since there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all, when it comes to real estate transactions, the smartest approach is often to take advantage of the combination of time-tested strategies, as well as tailor the specific approach, to the circumstances, and real, property/house! With that in mind, most would benefit, when/if, they took advantage of using a SURE approach, strategy and plan of action! Therefore, this article will try, briefly, to consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is important.

1. Competition; clarity; create/ creative; condition; communication: The best results occur when agent and customer proceed, on the same page, and this comes from improved communication, right from the start! One must know and consider the competition, so that there is clarity, in terms of reasoning, in terms of creation, the initial listing price! Objectively evaluate and compare the strengths and weaknesses in terms of the house and the condition of the property!

two. List price; listening; to lease: It is important for a homeowner to realize that the listing (or asking) price and the selling price are often different. Agent-customer discussions should focus on effective listening and empathy! In real estate, location and its variables are significant!

3. Emphasis; empathy; esthetic: Is there anything about the aesthetics and appearance of a property that can make it stronger or weaker? It is wise to put the emphasis on marketing, on perceived strengths (accentuate the positive), and always remain empathic!

Four. Getting closer; area; active; advantage: Knowing and appreciating both the pros and cons is a great start to the best possible approach! What are the major assets and what aspects of the specific area add to or detract from the perceived value and curb appeal of this home?

5. Region; reasons; Fundamental reason; realistic; bedrooms: Considerations such as the particular region, number, size, and attractiveness of rooms are important factors in marketing a home. Quality real estate agents clearly articulate their reasons and rationale to their clients!

When the SURE approach, to the sale of houses, is understood and followed, the results usually benefit, and the overall transaction is usually less stressful! Will you follow these basic steps to get the best results?
