Dragon Breath Chicken Wings are a great way to kick off your Labor Day or Super Bowl party (or ANY kind of party!) The great thing about this easy chicken wing appetizer recipe is that they are just as delicious as they are cold! . straight from your grill.

Those who love spice will surely love these. Have some milk and mints to freshen up your mouth!

What you will need for Dragon’s Breath Chicken Wings:

for the marinade

– 2 tablespoons of rice wine

– 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon ginger root (grated)

for the sauce

– 1 clove of garlic (minced)

– 1 tablespoon ginger root (grated)

– 4 tablespoon soy sauce

– 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar

– 1 spoon of sugar

– 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

– 1/4 teaspoon hot chili oil

– 2 pounds of chicken wings

– chopped green onions

First, combine the marinade ingredients in a large plastic bag. Before adding the chicken wings to the bag, cut off the wing tip, then cut in half after discarding the wing tip. Marinate the wings for at least an hour before cooking.

Next, drain the wings and discard the marinade. Fire up the grill and grill the chicken wings until cooked through. An alternative is to bake them on the middle rack of a 400 degree F oven for 40 minutes.

Next, whisk together the sauce ingredients until well blended.

Arrange the chicken wings on your favorite chicken wing platter and pour the sauce over them to completely cover them. Clever! That is all! Garnish with the finely chopped green onions and you’re ready to serve. Enjoy the game!
