Framed enclosures are the most economical and waterproof. These cabinets offer fully framed tempered glass. The door is secured with full length magnets on the lock side to ensure a proper seal along with a weatherstrip and drip bar at the bottom to make sure all the water runs into the shower instead of from to the floor. These doors/ cabinets can be the most economical and high quality with a custom looking metal finish. These doors stand up to years of use, especially in your children’s bathroom. From a safety perspective, there are no exposed glass edges like you would find with a frameless or frameless shower.

By-pass shower doors have come a long way since Granma had them. With the custom finishes and glass options you can choose from, such as custom frameless glass, through glass towel bars/handles – these doors are both beautiful and functional in areas where a hinged door is not possible, such as where the toilet is. or the sink and cabinet are too close to the tub/shower.

Cabinet Glass Options

Glass options for sliding doors are numerous and varied. Rain glass, patterned glass, glue chip and tempered glass are some of your options. Standard 3/16″ thick frameless tempered glass is the most economical, either framed or frameless and has clips on the towel bars, or another frameless version has ¼” thick glass, with towel bars through the glass or for a more personalized design. Appearance 3/8″ thick tempered glass is available for the best custom look in bypass cabinets.

An additional option that is gaining popularity is the partition consisting of one or more 3/8″ thick tempered glass panels that are mounted to the wall(s) or half of the wall(s). es), allowing for easier access.no door installed, no moving parts.
