Step 1: Consultation
Telephone or online consultation on what steps (data loss precautions and procedures) to take as soon as a data crisis occurs. We will explain our recovery process to ensure media is handled carefully after a crash.
A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be signed for corporate and commercial clients to ensure data confidentiality from media submission to data delivery.
The unit can be delivered to our office located in Bangalore or can be picked up and dropped off at the customer and user location (service currently available at lab recovery at the Bangalore location) or a personal visit to the location is supported. our office, another city or country through courier service.
Step 2: Media Analysis
• Corrupted media is analyzed in a clean Class 100 lab to determine the cause of the data crisis and the most appropriate data recovery approach can be followed. Depending on the accessibility possibilities of the locked media and the level of data crisis, a basic recovery process is performed and sample data is analyzed and verified. The percentile chance of data recovery is calculated. The time required for recovery is calculated based on the type of crash and the customer’s data requirements. We design the recovery process workflow for each media shipped based on condition.
• The diagnostic report along with the time period required for recovery and percentile of the possibility of recoverable data and the quote are sent to the client for approval. Note: The price/cost quote for data recovery may vary depending on the extent of damaged media shipped from which data is to be recovered, charges do not vary based on GB or MB recovery of media. • Approximate media analysis time: 4-8 hours from the time the hard drive is received and also depends on the size of the drive or the arrangement of data and spare parts.
Step 3: Data recovery
• Data recovery begins once confirmed by the Customer. Confirmation can be made by email, phone or direct contact about the recovery percentage, the required term, the cost and the payment method.
• After the recovery is complete, the validity of the data in the files is checked to ensure the quality of the recovery and the format of the recovered files. Directory listings in a text file (or as requested by the client) are sent to the client for verification and approval of file type and file names. Alternatively, the client can visit us for data verification and confirm the integrity of the data. Because we follow professional recovery procedures. Data privacy is maintained as we perform software verification to validate data retrieved from media.
• Approximate data recovery time: typically 1 day for logical issues, 2-4 days for non-physical issues, and 4-15 days for physical issues.
Step 4: Data Delivery
• The delivery is according to the Term and the Percentage of Data agreed to recover and the Cost agreed with the Client. After payment confirmation, data will be backed up to media of your choice: CD, DVD up to 10GB of data (customer to provide nominal cost of CD/DVD), over 10GB of data customers need provide a backup hard drive, pen drive, laptop or desktop hard drive for data backup with adequate free space. Small size data can be uploaded online to the cloud or via FTP. We will follow the same data recovery process for our customers to maintain maximum data accuracy on each medium. The data will be securely deleted from our server to ensure the confidentiality of the data.
