Jewelry is one of the best gold makers and it’s pretty easy too. Do daily jewelry quest every day, this will yield around 100g daily or new gem recipe once every 3-4 days.
Jewel crafting is just as lovely depending on raids and new gear, so keep these 3 at a time and be more focused during peak times.

The average Cardinal Ruby costs around 100 gold on each server and cuts can go up to 150g, NEVER post them for more than 12 hours (unless told) due to high auction house deposit.

In this market, you will find people who undercut deeply, sometimes below the reduced price.

Example: Purchase of Cardinal Ruby 100g
Bold Cardinal Ruby 130g player a
Bold Cardinal Ruby 129g player b
Bold Cardinal Ruby 128g player c
Bold Cardinal Ruby 102g player d

When you see a person doing this, it’s best to just buy it and republish it for a quick profit, and save a minute without having to cut another.

Gems tend to go for 80-110 uncut gold on servers and 105-150 cut. This market can be crowded on some servers, but it’s still worth it if you know what you’re doing.
Since uncut gems can be bought with honor and emblems, have a macro that you use every time you’re in a town, for example.

“Buy all [Cardinal Rubys] 85/90/95 (depending on server) Each! CoD or / whisper to me”

Also always trade people who sell cardinal rubies on the trade, these people just bought them and don’t really care how much they get if it’s average, just by looking at the trade channel I can get 20-30 cardinal rubies daily.

Check with the auction house which gems are selling the most at the time, but be aware of what they typically sell for so you don’t end up with 40 useless gems because they sold at a high price that day. Of course you can buy yellow/blue/purple gems, but I mainly use the red Cardinal Ruby.

Sometimes your competitors will lower your purchase price by just a few silver coins and bid by several gold coins, when they post below the price of the Cardinal Ruby, or close to it, they simply bid on the gem, like this it will cost them more to cancel. and it’s no risk for you because even if you win it (almost never, but it happens) you’ll get more gems to sell and you won’t have to spend time cutting them.

Rare red gems also sell well, not for as high a price, but still a very good percentage of profit. With the Gem Perfection quest completed you will sometimes get a “perfect gem” which has better stats and of course will sell for more cuts than normal, so if you haven’t done this quest do it before you start cutting .

Runed Bloodstone, Bold Bloodstone, Bright Bloodstone, and Delicate Bloodstone should be your top sellers, but check your server’s auction house to be sure.

You can also benefit from saronite ore prospecting which is even better if you are enchanting because you can turn green gems into rings/necklaces etc. and of.
