Many times when two people part ways and go their separate ways, one or the other of them is not happy about it. Even if both of you agree to break up, often one or both of you will still be thinking about your ex boyfriend or girlfriend. Eventually, this leads to thinking about getting it back.

If you still get butterflies in your stomach every time you think about your ex boyfriend, you probably fall into the category of wanting to get back together. However, perhaps you think that it is impossible, so you have simply decided not to continue with the matter.

But the thing is, if you still have feelings, he might be experiencing the same thing too. Just think about this: What if you both really, deep down, want to get back together and neither of you does anything about it? What a transvestite that would be. They could be soul mates to each other and yet they will let the relationship go without a fight.

If you really want him back, and you really think there might still be feelings on both sides, it’s at least worth a try. Don’t you think? Call him, invite him to lunch or just for a coffee. See what he says and does. Read her body language and try to understand what he is saying to you. If it seems like he’s still interested, tell him you’d like to start dating again. If you don’t see any interest at all, you haven’t lost anything by trying. And who knows, maybe he’ll go home, start thinking about you and call you in a few days.

Whatever you do, don’t assume that “absence makes the heart grow bigger.” That may be true in some cases, but in my experience it’s usually the opposite, and you’ll drift further and further away.
