Before the advent of the Internet, life was good and orderly. There is a post office for the mail, although you have to resort to other mail senders if you want the mail to reach the recipients faster, but you have to pay more for the difference in time and service. You can call and communicate with friends and loved ones in faraway places, as long as you’re prepared to see your phone bills skyrocket. You can search the library and take days or weeks to finish your reports… and so on.

However, the flow of everyday life has changed dramatically since the inception of the Internet. Conventional forms of transactions, whether commercial, social, personal, etc. They seem so far away, like part of ancient history. Everything changed. All easily mixed up with “climate change” the way communication and other things have progressed. This was all brought about by the miracle they called the “internet.”

How does the Internet expand my world? Here are just a few of them:

· Communication. I can talk to my family and friends without spending a penny on it. As long as you have the PC and are connected to the Internet, you can talk as long as you want, to your heart’s content. If there is no personal computer, a cell phone will do. The modern services offered by Internet providers make everything so accessible and feasible.

· Social interactions. Although it could be included in communication, it’s a little different in the sense that Internet users find friends and even partners for life through the social sites that sprang up like mushrooms when the Internet went mainstream. The difference is that these friends are complete strangers and can only be found on the web.

· Business relationships. This is the most important sector that the Internet has helped. You can transact business and create deals anywhere in the world in a matter of minutes, even from the comfort of your own home.

The invention of ATMs, electronic books, emails, etc. are some of the modern methods brought by the internet. These modern electronic forms make transactions easier and faster, as well as save time and money. Also, and perhaps most importantly, having all of this makes everyone satisfied and happy.

· Jobs online. For employers and employees, the Internet allows them to earn money online without the restriction of time and place. Even mothers and the unemployed have the opportunity to find work and earn money from their homes.

· Education. Today, following your studies is available online. You can finish your degree from your home. This distance education inspired college students or even graduates to further their career.

· Investigation. Whether it’s a business or a thesis, anything you want to search for, is at your fingertips. You can learn so many things in a matter of minutes.

· Visit places away from home. Sitting in your office or at home, you can visit and see places you have never been and maybe never will. Seeing them and going from one place to another is a trip that money can’t even match.

Looking back at the times before the birth of the Internet, it seems like not only eons away, but we also realize that we cannot imagine living today without having the Internet in our lives, even how simple our life is.
