As a Celebrity Personal Trainer, I’m constantly looking for techniques and methods to increase the intensity of my clients’ workouts so they burn fat and achieve a lean, gorgeous physique. Celebrities don’t have a lot of time, contrary to public belief, they need time-efficient workouts that produce quality results.

In addition to Best Celebrity Workouts 1, we now have an extension for super-setting with a method known as Tri-Sets. As if supersets weren’t hard enough, trisets involve the addition of a third exercise to further increase the intensity.

Supersets involve training opposing muscle groups with no rest between sets. So a celebrity could train chest and immediately combine it with back, or quads and hamstrings. Tri-sets can involve three sets performed immediately after each other using the same muscle group, or three exercises performed immediately after another.

If one were to use tri-sets for the same muscle group then this is an advanced method of training and I would only perform this method with experienced exercise users as the intensity is so high. An example of a tri-set using the same muscle group would be:

barbell squats
lunges
leg extensions

A heavy load cannot be used for this training method and it would not be possible to complete the tri-set. Sets of 8 to 12 reps are good, about 75% of your 1 rep max (1RM). Another method of training using tri-sets is to use different muscle groups, therefore reducing the high intensity on a particular muscle group making the training more tolerable but intense. An example of this would be:

dead weight
chin up
reject crunches

shoulder press
lunges
seated rows

If a celebrity wanted to work a lot on their legs and glutes, then I can design a three-set workout for them using only leg exercises. If I just need a more general application but focused on burning fat, then I would go for the last three sets using various exercises, especially if the client is less advanced.

Sets of three stimulate the release of the powerful hormones testosterone and growth hormone and can only be done for about 30-45 minutes due to the intensity of the workouts.

Celebrity workouts require higher intensity and tri-sets are a great training tool for burning fat and building quality lean muscle tissue!
