Don’t make my mistake. Don’t fall for this common cat naming trap. One of my adorable cats (not my Siamese cat) is named Stripy. Why? Because he was in a litter of five kittens, and he was the striped one. Once a cat has a name, you will probably never change it, trust me.

Where to start?

Choose Siamese cat names It is easier than you think. What is the unique characteristic of the Siamese cat? Yes, the blue eyes. So ‘blue’ inspired names are a good starting point.

– Artists have given fabulous names to exquisite blue paintings. Some may like Indigo, Prussian, and Maya.

– What’s more romantic than beautiful old wildflower names? Blue or white flowers may be the best – cornflower, gentian, or bellflower may be perfect for your new Siamese.

– How about some lovely crystal Siamese cat names? A famous blue diamond named Hope? Or sapphire or cinnabar?

– Blue cat names are not for you? Cat names inspired by the icy northern white like Frost, Snowflake, and maybe Blizzard for the ultra-active Siamese.

– Names of brown cats? They can include, Coco (Chanel, of course, instead of the hot drink). I also know Siamese cats named Onyx and Chocolate.

– Gray names because you are recently owned by a blue point Siamese? Frosting and Pussy Willow sound great.

– Some ‘hot’ names for your red or flame point Siamese to consider, Amber Honey and Rufus.

– How about a witchcraft name for your spiritual Siamese? Choose wisely here, you don’t want your cat to live up to a ‘bad’ name, do you?

– There have been many famous Siamese cats. What if Siamese cat names with the appeal of the star? Siam was owned by President Rutherford Hayes and lived at the best address in America; The White House. And Marcus was a gift from one famous star to another.
